This last weekend was the Rockport Quilt Show. This show takes place every other year in even years. It is a small show held in the high school but it always proves to be a great show. The weather was beautiful and there was a great turn out.
I finally finished my first pattern. It was well received at the show and I was happy that people were actually buying it. Writing a pattern is a lot of work and it really makes you appreciate the hard work that everyone puts into them. I hope to get more of my own patterns written in the near future. Of course, after the show I had to rush home because I had to be back at work first thing Monday morning. I will be so glad when May 31, 2013 gets here so I won't have to worry about having to get back to work because I will be RETIRED!!!
